Start with the space, not just the flower.
Measure the width and depth of the surface, the available height and the space around it. Leave room for the way the area is used: a conversation across a table, a door opening or people walking past.
Read the product dimensions carefully.
A stem measurement usually describes its full length, including the part that sits inside a vase. An arrangement, vase and tree can each be measured differently. Check what the product listing includes and whether a container is part of the item. If a measurement is missing or unclear, ask us before ordering.
Stems and vases
Compare the stem length with your vase height and opening. A narrow opening gathers stems together; a wider one lets them spread. Allow space for the flower heads as well as the stems. Try the arrangement before making permanent changes, because cutting or altering an item can affect return eligibility.
Tables and consoles
Use a tape measure or a paper outline to visualize the arrangement’s footprint. For dining tables, leave room for place settings and serving pieces and check the view between seats. On a console, consider mirrors, artwork and lamps so the flowers have room to sit comfortably.
Trees, garlands and installations
For a tree, check ceiling clearance, the pot footprint and the spread of the branches. For garlands, measure the route they will follow; curves, swags and draping need more length than a straight line. For a wall or arch, share the overall dimensions, support structure and planned placement before choosing quantities.
